Healthy things to carry on a travel or picnic
In pandemic times, apartment dwellers like me still need to venture outside to rejuvenate ourselves.
Here’s a list of things that I want to keep as options to carry during travel / picnic.
Lets keep in mind that any home made food in general is a healthier bet than processed food or food sourced from outside, as one cant be sure what went into making it.
- Easy to source
- Easy to make
- Preferably healthy
- Lasts at least half a day
a. Fresh cut fruits like cucubers, oranges, apples, banana, guava, pomegranate
b. pooris + alu-dum / chicken curry
c. pulao / fried rice + curry
e. atta cake
f. salads like cucumber
g. sandwich made of cheese, lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes packed in a breadbox
h. a thermos flask with hot water and mugs / disposable cups
Last, but not the least, to stay hydrated, carry plenty of wate.
